Cyan's Z-Series multi-layer transport platforms support a full spectrum of applications and services:
- basic aggregation and 10 Gbps transport of packet or TDM services,
- advanced MEF services with industry leading connection oriented Ethernet transport for superior SLA performance,
- wave division multiplexing of multiple 10 Gbps services and wavelengths over a common fiber pair,
- full multi-layer cross connect and grooming across services and technologies with up to 7 degrees of WSS based ROADM functionality employing industry leading colorless, non-directional optics for a fully software controlled network.
These capabilites in combination with the Z-Series' modular architecture, allowing economic scale from the network edge to the core, position the Cyan Z-Series as the ideal platforms to support applications ranging from edge aggregation to metro and regional transport of both wholesale and resale services.
